17 August 2006: News update - Township Committee discusses future of fire protection in Holmdel. 3 out of 5 committee members appear in favor of Holmdel Fire Rescue #2. No discussion on a one department approach. No details of implementation given. More discussion scheduled for 7 Sept meeting.

7 July 2006: Web hosting from netlabs has been terminated and the site has been moved to commercial (paid) hosting. The residents of Holmdel represented here offer our sincerest thanks to netlabs for 5 years of free hosting as a community service. Because netlabs was hosting donated as a community service there were considerations on content. With that consideration removed, more freedom of speech can be exercised!!

27 June 2006: To avoid confusion, anything to do with the previous use of this site has been removed. There should now be a clear distinction between the old site & the new "FAN" site.

26 June 2006: As of 16 June 2006, this domain name, its web address, and its eMail are no longer affiliated with any Holmdel Fire organization. This site has been changed and will be updated to continue to be a community service but will be created and supported by a group of residents of Holmdel as a "FAN" site. No web or eMail addresses are currently available for the previous user of this domain name. Any correspondence destined to said organization may not be able to be forwarded.

Note: We have 4 Holmdel residents that will be taking over this site... If you'd like to join them and be a part of it, send an eMail message to the address below. Pictures, articles, and news updates also requested.
